Are you looking fro a way to show your support?
There are ways to show your support through monetary donations and/or by becoming actively involved. Through Key Foundations, there is a way for you to make a positive impact in a family's life!
Preschool
You can help through:
Donations
- Be 1 of 500 to donate $100 to our Pre-school scholarship fund.
- Provide a uniform for a student. ($25 will provide a uniform for 1 child)
Active Participation
- Be a substitute teacher at Key Foundations' Preschool
- Volunteer your time to help the Pre-school teacher file papers, assemble bulletin boards, and organize stock room.
- Do you have a fun craft idea for the kids? Share your idea with Carolyn and come t the school and help the kids with the project.
Help from Home
- Create bulletin board theme/ideas/artwork and send to the school for someone else to assemble.
- Purchase the supplies for a craft idea and send instructions for someone else to prepare with the children.
- Make phone calls to parents whose children are on our waiting list.

Girls Club
You can help through:
Donations
- Be a sponsor! Provide the opportunity for a young girl to go to camp for a weekend at Camp Smiling Acres.
- Provide Girls' Club t-shirts. ($10 will provide 1 girl a t-shirt)
Active Participation
- Be a Girls Club facilitator. Find the opportunity that best suits your schedule:
1) Facilitate at weekly meetings at Buchanan Elementary 2) Facilitate twice a month on Saturdays.
- Be a mentor, role model, and friend. Your schedule determines when you would meet with the girl assigned to you.
- Be a tutor. All this requires is 2 hours of your time on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Help from Home
- Contact Carolyn Myer at (225) 343-9998 for ideas and ways you can help her prepare for the meetings from the comfort of your own home.

Key Family Foundations
You can help through:
Active Participation
- Be a mentor to a family as they strive to learn and grow.
- Teach a class! Families want to know about relationships, parenting, money management, family fun ideas, and goals for educating their children.
- Assist with a Bible study. This is a win-win! You get to study more and help someone else begin to study and know God!
- Be a mentor to an ex-offender by helping a man or woman adjust to living life in the community after thier release from prison.
Help from Home
- Be a support person by assisting the group facilitator with preparation for classes and/or workshops.

Key Foundations Board
You can help by:
Be an active Board Member! Meetings are help once a month.
Participate on Board Committee.
Assist with Grant writing.
